- 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 12 oz cheese-filled tortellini
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ยฝ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your counter and mince the garlic.
- Cook the tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp of butter. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet and slice into bite-sized pieces.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sautรฉ until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Return the sliced chicken to the skillet along with the tortellini; drizzle soy sauce over them and toss until well coated.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the tortellini to keep its texture perfect. You can add vegetables like spinach or broccoli for more nutrition.
