- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup Oreo cookie chunks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Stir in the vanilla and red food coloring.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and Oreo cookie chunks.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
These cookies are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature. Pair them with milk or coffee.
